These are for my Computer-Aided Design class. I'm designing for Spring/Summer 2009, playing with 40's and 50's tailoring, splicing that with Christian Iconography of the Martyr St. Sebastian (shot through with arrows, if you didn't know). The collection has a focus on occasion dressing, like, dressing for dinner, looking proper, etc.
These are the "rejected" sketches that I ended up titling "St. Stephen's Stones". These would be in navy with bright turquoise and/or Lapis Lazuli embellishments. We had to do 100 sketches, so I had a few ideas, but in the end assignment, there will be only 30 pieces...so one Saint is plenty.
